Promote health and well-being by combining allopathic medicine and alternative practices
Dr. Allison Faber Marshall, founder of Full Circle Veterinary Services, PC, is a fully licensed veterinarian with a practice focusing on veterinary acupuncture and spinal manipulative therapy.
She brings a “full circle” approach to her practice by gently combining Western and Eastern medicine. Allison prefers this integrative focus which promotes health, well-being, and optimum performance. Using Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) and Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (VSMT), she complements the more traditional “western” medical procedures with theories based on the notion of balance within the body. TCVM is a medical art that dates back at least 5,000 years. This medicine involves unblocking “Qi” or bio-energy, and aids in self-healing and the maintenance of health via balance within the body’s energy systems. VSMT or chiropractic allows the unblocking of spinal and nervous system flow to increase strength, muscle tone, and enervation of all body systems. Holistic therapies can help animals feel better, and can be used to address dermatological and allergy problems, hormonal imbalances, fertility issues, arthritis and weaknesses associated with aging, nerve paralysis, digestive issues, and recovery and treatment of many neurological disorders. In addition, they can help performance animals excel. Full Circle Veterinary Services is a practice limited to horses.
